Inky
This book has been inspired by true events.
It is a heart-warming tale based on the capture of a young wild pig in the depths of Te Urewera National Park in New Zealand. It recalls some of the challenges with raising an orphaned newborn wild pig and its interaction with the author’s family.
It is not a documentary, but a story written for younger minds in the hope that it will inspire them to enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities this country has to offer. The tale has a uniquely New Zealand flavour that, hopefully, will appeal to both readers and listeners alike.
Author “Poppa Barry” is an 80-year-old grandfather who wrote the books for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has wonderfully illustrated it with accurate and detailed pictures, which he taught himself to create using AI.
